Eyasu Zeleke Alemu, serving as the GCM Youth Strategy Team Leader, brings a wealth of experience and dedication to his ministry. Married with one son, Penial, and expecting a second child soon, Eyasu has been with the ministry for 14 years, transitioning from associate staff to full-time missionary staff.
With an advanced diploma in Mission and Theology from Grace Theological College and currently pursuing a BA in Mission and Theology from International Leadership University Ethiopia, Eyasu's expertise lies in youth ministry leadership. He has served in various capacities, from zonal Team Leader to national team leader, demonstrating his commitment to youth evangelism and discipleship.
Notable achievements include mobilizing students for evangelism events, teaching ministry materials, developing associates for ministry, and training over 1000 high school ministry leaders. Eyasu finds joy in the salvation of souls, serving Ethiopian churches, and hearing inspiring stories after evangelism events.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and reading spiritual books. A memorable project for Eyasu was coordinating the Addis Ketama and Ledata sub-cities in the Addis Wave project.
Motivated by his calling and passion for lost souls, Eyasu navigates challenges through prayer, seeking wisdom, guidance, and patience. His goal is to equip holistic youth leaders for church ministry through training, counseling, follow-up, and coaching.
For aspiring professionals, Eyasu advises using their positions and professions for kingdom business, being a light and salt in their workplaces. He prioritizes work-life balance through planning and addressing life situations as they arise.
