Solomon Mulat Gebertsadik is an essential figure within the Great Commission Ministry, holding the pivotal position of Central Global Church Movement (GCM) Team Leader. With a career spanning 16 years of full-time commitment to the ministry, Solomon's journey began even earlier during his high school years, demonstrating a lifelong dedication to serving others.
Solomon's educational background is marked by excellence, with a BA Degree in Sociology and Anthropology from New Generation University College, and another BA Degree in Theology from EEC MekanYesus Theology College. His pursuit of knowledge continued with an MA in Transformational Leadership from GATL, enhancing his capacity to lead and inspire others within the ministry.
In his role as Central GCM Team Leader, Solomon oversees a myriad of responsibilities, including providing leadership, facilitating field ministry and logistics, managing financial matters, conducting trainings, and collaborating closely with the central team. His expertise extends to utilizing digital platforms to share compelling stories and impactful ministry updates.
Throughout his tenure, Solomon has achieved notable milestones, such as equipping thousands of students in action teams during his time in the Wollega region and spearheading city mobilization and church planting initiatives in Adama. His ability to navigate challenges and setbacks is rooted in prayer and open communication with his team.
What Solomon enjoys most about his work at GCM is the investment in personal and professional growth, the opportunity to contribute to the Kingdom of God, and the camaraderie among colleagues. Outside of work, he finds solace in watching football and spending quality time with his family, cherishing moments of gratitude and prayer together.
One of Solomon's most memorable experiences was his involvement in a medical mission to Afar, where he successfully revitalized ministry efforts through strategic planning and fundraising. Looking ahead, Solomon remains committed to fulfilling his current responsibilities, providing training and mobilization for churches, and empowering his team to serve fruitfully.
