At the heart of our organization lies a profound commitment to mission – a calling to spread the transformative message of the gospel to every corner of the earth. Guided by the Great Commission, we are driven by a deep sense of urgency and purpose to reach those who have yet to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our mission endeavors encompass both local and global contexts, each presenting its own unique challenges and opportunities. From remote villages in Ethiopia to unreached people groups in neighboring nations, our mission is clear: to plant seeds of hope, to nurture faith communities, and to proclaim the love of Christ to a world in need. Join us as we embark on this journey of faith, fueled by a passion to see lives transformed and nations awakened to the power of God's grace.
Our mission endeavors, both locally and globally, are rooted in a deep commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission and spreading the transformative message of the gospel to the ends of the earth. Through strategic planning, collaboration, and a steadfast reliance on God's guidance, we are confident that our efforts will bear fruit in the advancement of God's kingdom and the establishment of vibrant faith communities among the unreached.
Welcome to the mission.
Local Mission:
Our commitment to local mission work extends to regions within Ethiopia where the gospel remains less accessible, particularly targeting the 37 unreached People Groups (UPG). These areas, comprising the North and the East, along with communities classified as unreached, are our primary focus. Within these regions, we deploy dedicated missionaries who undergo rigorous training and receive ongoing supervision to ensure their effectiveness in spreading the message of hope and salvation.
Our activities encompass a broad spectrum of initiatives aimed at establishing indigenous churches and nurturing sustainable faith communities. This includes not only missionary training and supervision but also proactive efforts in raising awareness and mobilizing support for mission work among local believers. Through strategic partnerships and collaboration, we facilitate the planting of churches tailored to the unique cultural contexts of each community, fostering a sense of ownership and empowerment among local believers.
Furthermore, our approach emphasizes the importance of contextualization, ensuring that the gospel message is presented in a manner that resonates with the cultural sensitivities and worldview of the target audience. This involves not only evangelism but also discipleship, as we seek to equip new believers with the knowledge and skills necessary to grow and mature in their faith. By facilitating dialogue and cooperation between sending and receiving entities, we foster a spirit of unity and mutual support within the broader mission community.
Global Mission
In addition to our local efforts, we are also deeply committed to advancing the cause of global mission, particularly in regions neighboring Ethiopia that are characterized by high concentrations of unreached people groups. These countries, including Eritrea, South Sudan, Djibouti, and Somalia, present unique challenges and opportunities for mission work.
Our global mission strategy is multifaceted, encompassing a range of activities designed to raise awareness and mobilize support for cross-cultural mission endeavors. This includes organizing awareness creation events and mission mobilization campaigns aimed at inspiring Ethiopian churches to engage in global mission work. We also actively recruit and deploy both short-term and long-term missionaries to these regions, equipping them with the necessary training and resources to effectively share the gospel in diverse cultural contexts.
Furthermore, we recognize the importance of developing culturally contextualized curriculum materials and resources that can effectively communicate the message of the gospel to unreached people groups. Through strategic partnerships with local churches and organizations, we seek to leverage existing networks and resources to maximize the impact of our mission efforts.
Additionally, we are actively engaged in reaching out to Ethiopian diaspora communities, mobilizing them for mission work, and empowering them to serve as ambassadors for Christ in their respective host countries. Utilizing digital platforms and technology, we aim to expand the reach of our evangelism and discipleship efforts, particularly in areas where physical access is limited.
