Responsibility: Staffcare Team Leader

Bayush Tilahun Begashaw brings over 13 years of dedicated service to the ministry, currently serving as the LDHR Staff Care Team Leader. Married to Kibru Taddesse for the last 14 years and a mother of four children, Bayush is deeply committed to her family and her work. With a diverse educational background including a BSA in Clinical Nursing and a BSc in Sociology and Social Work, Bayush possesses a unique blend of skills and qualifications that inform her role within the ministry.

As the LDHR Staff Care Team Leader, Bayush's main responsibilities revolve around ensuring that all staff feel valued, supported, and equipped for their roles. Notable achievements include her contributions to campus ministry, where 18 students received Jesus Christ under her leadership, and coordinating full-time women's equipping and empowering initiatives. Additionally, Bayush has provided valuable health prevention and promotion services, raising awareness and promoting wellness among staff members.

What Bayush enjoys most about working at the ministry is the joy of being called by the Lord and the opportunity to care for people in different ways. Outside of work, she finds fulfillment in singing, cooking, and engaging in acts of service and care.

A memorable project Bayush worked on was organizing university student ministry and staff care holiday celebrations. Her motivation to excel in her role stems from her faith and her commitment to serving others. When faced with challenges or setbacks, Bayush turns to prayer, meditation, and open discussions with her team for guidance and support.

In terms of career aspirations, Bayush plans to establish an office where staff can easily access support and advice on various issues. She emphasizes the importance of teamwork in expanding the kingdom of God and offers advice to aspiring professionals in her field to work collaboratively towards this goal.
Beyond her role as LDHR Staff Care Team Leader, Bayush also contributes to the media team within the ministry. To prioritize work-life balance, she manages her time effectively and gives priority to tasks that align with her values and goals.
