Vision
Our vision is to serve, train, and send athletes as influencers into the world, building spiritual movements everywhere through the platform of sport, so that everyone knows someone who truly follows Jesus Christ.
More About Us
We are actively engaged in ministry with 30 different sports clubs, each boasting at least 20-30 members, thanks to our dedicated volunteers. Our ministry focus remains on cultivating spiritual growth within these clubs.
With 45 chaplains utilizing the Sport Life curriculum, we initiate conversations with players and coaches, fostering meaningful connections and opportunities for spiritual development. Our commitment to professional excellence is evident in our strategic partnerships, as demonstrated by our recent chaplaincy agreements with 10 teams. These agreements encompass over eight coaches and assistant coaches, impacting more than 200 athletes across four different sports.
God has graciously opened doors for us to recruit volunteers in four cities, where we witness individuals from various sports committing their lives to Jesus and initiating follow-up activities.
Additionally, through the distribution of the AIA-produced Amharic Bible titled 'Struggle & Triumph,' we introduce athletes to God's Word, providing invaluable access to those who may have otherwise been deprived of it. To date, over 850 athletes and 250 GCME staff and associates have received these Bibles free of charge, enriching their spiritual journeys and deepening their faith.
