Kibru Tadesse Disasa has been a devoted member of the ministry since December 1999, currently serving as the Geographic Expansion Director. Alongside his 14-year marriage to Bayush Tilahun, they cherish their four children: Lewi (13), Meklit (11), Yonathan (6), and Benyas (4). Kibru holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and two Master's degrees—one in Transformational Leadership and another in Mission and Theology.
Throughout his tenure, Kibru has held various leadership roles, from leading a small Jesus Film team to serving as a National Director. Currently, he focuses on mentoring leaders and overseeing ten local ministries in Addis Ababa. His notable achievements include expanding the ministry's reach to northern and eastern Ethiopia, launching the GCME Building, and developing comprehensive training programs.
Kibru finds deep fulfillment in the ministry's commitment to the Great Commission, particularly in empowering local staff to bridge mission gaps. Outside of work, he enjoys riding horses, finding solace in nature. Witnessing individuals flourish spiritually and in ministry roles motivates him to excel, even amidst challenges.
In his missionary journey, Kibru aspires to be wholly available for God's divine purpose. He advises aspiring professionals to embrace the act of giving in ministry and serves on the National Leadership Team of GCM Ethiopia. Maintaining work-life balance is a continual journey for Kibru, rooted in self-assessment and dedication.
Colleagues and clients can reach out to Kibru through phone calls, messages, or social media platforms, reflecting his commitment to collaboration and assistance in ministry endeavors.
