In our approach to children's ministry, we recognize the importance of laying a strong foundation of faith and character in the lives of young children. Therefore, our focus is on providing quality training and resources to Sunday School teachers, who serve as frontline ministers in the spiritual formation of children. To achieve this we have partnered with AWANA children’s ministry who strives to preach the gospel to children and make them disciples of Christ.
The curriculum we use is carefully crafted to engage children in age-appropriate Bible study, Scripture memorization, and character development. Through creative teaching methods, interactive activities, and hands-on experiences, we seek to make the truths of Scripture come alive for children in a way that is engaging, relevant, and transformative.
Training sessions for Sunday School teachers cover a wide range of topics, including child development, effective teaching strategies, classroom management, and creating a nurturing learning environment. Through these sessions, teachers are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to create dynamic and engaging Sunday School experiences for children.
In addition to curriculum training, we also offer support and resources for parents, recognizing the important role they play in the spiritual formation of their children. Parenting workshops, family events, and resources for home-based discipleship are provided to empower parents to nurture their children's faith and character in the home.
Furthermore, we invest in the development of volunteers who serve in children's ministry, providing training, mentorship, and ongoing support to ensure that they are equipped to effectively minister to children and families in their communities.
Overall, our goal is to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children can encounter the love of Christ, grow in their faith, and develop a lifelong relationship with God. Through intentional discipleship, quality teaching, and supportive relationships, we seek to empower children to become lifelong followers of Jesus Christ who are grounded in faith, equipped for service, and passionate about sharing the love of God with others.
