In the Alumni and Catalytic Movement, a specialized team comprised of Action Group certified professionals and dedicated students plays a pivotal role in advancing the fulfillment of the Great Commission within educational centers under the guidance of SLM staff. This dynamic team, consisting of alumni who have undergone specialized training and current students committed to the cause, serves as catalysts for transformative change within academic settings. Through their expertise and passion for spreading the message of Christ, they actively engage in strategic initiatives designed to impact lives and foster spiritual growth.
By collaborating closely with SLM staff members, they leverage their collective knowledge and resources to effectively implement programs and campaigns aimed at reaching students and faculty with the love and truth of the Gospel. Together, they form a powerful force for good, dedicated to making a lasting difference in the lives of individuals and communities within educational institutions.
In the Alumni and Catalytic Movement, we are committed to strategic initiatives aimed at spiritual growth and outreach:
A. Prayer: We prioritize prayer and fasting, seeking revival in every heart within educational centers. Through corporate prayer gatherings involving staff, alumni, and students, we foster unity and spiritual alignment. Additionally, we actively mobilize and coordinate students to maintain a consistent prayer life within their fellowships, supported by initiatives such as the Five Minutes Prayer Mobilization.
B. Evangelism & Mission: Our evangelism efforts encompass one-to-one outreach strategies like the 4SP approach and segments from the Jesus Film. Utilizing PCS methodologies, we engage in on-campus evangelism, strategically reaching out to peers with the message of Christ. Moreover, we participate in missions, including both Break and Summer Missions, extending our impact beyond campus boundaries.
C. Discipleship: We invest in alumni formation through structured processes aimed at deepening their faith and commitment to the Great Commission. Action group training and the development of student leaders provide avenues for ongoing discipleship and spiritual growth.
D. Leadership Development: Alumni receive specialized TOT (Training of Trainers) training to equip them for leadership roles within the movement. Through connecting and coaching initiatives, we provide ongoing support and guidance to alumni, empowering them to effectively lead and mentor others.
E. Mobilization: Our mobilization efforts include annual alumni training events, such as Campus Bridge and the National Leadership Summit, where alumni are equipped and inspired to make a lasting impact within their spheres of influence. Additionally, we maintain a continuous focus on prayer through initiatives like the Five Minutes Prayer Mobilization, ensuring that prayer remains central to all our endeavors.
