I lived and grew up in Bahir Dar, Ethiopia. I attended my elementary, primary, and secondary education at Bahir Dar Academy. My father is a university lecturer, whereas my mother is a kindergarten teacher. My hobby was playing games, having fun with friends, sketching, and making digital drawings. I also loved reading and writing stories of adventure. ICT and Biology were among my favorite subjects. When the time approached to join the university, I enrolled in the Software Engineering department at Bahir Dar University. While I was a campus student, I was engaged in a digital strategy team called VLM (Virtual Led Movement), which focused on evangelizing campus students digitally. Via that team, I was aware of GCME (Great Commission Ministry Ethiopia), particularly the Digital Strategy department. We worked very closely with GCME, who assisted us in many ways to minister to our fellowship. Moreover, the team helped me to raise my awareness and passion for using my skills and profession for the kingdom of God. After I graduated in August 2022, I joined GCME's Digital Strategy Department, and now, I am serving God using my software development skills.
Educational Background
I had a passion for computing and technology since childhood. Thus, I happily joined the Bahir Dar Institute of Technology (BiT) at Bahir Dar Univerisity. My study gave me a great insight into how I could create software solutions to real-world problems. Since I was a campus student, I worked on desktop, mobile, and web applications. I was a fan of Java programming language. I also had an experience in video-making and graphics. Currently, I am working as a PHP (Laravel) developer.
